CIVIL DRAFTER

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Drafter to support the preparation of engineering drawings, drafting documentation, and BIM models for civil and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring documentation complies with project requirements and industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and revise civil engineering drawings, plans, details, and layouts using AutoCAD, REVIT, and BIM software.
Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with project requirements and standards.
Coordinate drawing production with engineers and other discipline teams.
Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with engineering and drafting standards.
Assist in the preparation of authority submission drawings and documentation.
Update drawings and models based on design changes and project requirements.
Perform drawing checks and maintain proper document control procedures.
Support multidisciplinary project coordination and BIM collaboration activities.
Prepare presentation drawings and 3D models using SketchUp where required.
REQUIREMENTS

Certificate or Diploma in Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in drafting, CAD, or BIM modelling.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM, and SketchUp.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.
Ability to interpret engineering designs and technical specifications.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering drawings is an added advantage.
Experience in BIM coordination is preferred.
Experience in engineering consultancy or construction projects is preferred.
Experience in authority submission drawings is preferred.
Training in AutoCAD, REVIT/BIM, and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
Exposure to BIM Coordination Training, Engineering Drawing Standards Training, and SketchUp Training is preferred.
